Our recent Selection Advantage research surveying leaders in Talent Acquisition shows that there is a clear need to evolve selection practices to be more digitised, intelligent, data-driven and innovative. Furthermore, 71% of our sample highlighted strategic workforce planning as the foundation of their selection strategy in the next 12 months. This suggests that thinking about selection as a transactional, means-to-an-end process is not enough and instead, it is critical to evolve selection practices to be future-focused and to optimise the wealth of data collected during the selection process.
